On fair days the taxis run out and the car parks fill up by nine. A booked car is the one thing that still works at that point.
Why you book rather than look
The exhibition quarter sits north of the city, minutes from the airport but awkward to reach along the ring road at peak hours. On the opening days of the larger shows, demand for taxis outstrips supply all morning, and the same thing happens in the evening with a few thousand people leaving at once.
With a private car the vehicle is already assigned to your name, at the time you chose, at the point you agreed. No queue, no hunting for a parking space, and no uncertainty about getting back.
The shows we are called for most
Bologna is one of the densest exhibition calendars in Europe. The shows we work on most consistently are:
- Cosmoprof Worldwide — cosmetics and perfumery, the largest international audience of the year
- Cersaie — ceramics and bathroom design, with a great many foreign buyers and delegations
- Marca — private label, heavily attended by retail buyers
- Arte Fiera — modern and contemporary art, galleries and collectors
- Bologna Children’s Book Fair — children’s publishing, publishers and agents from all over the world
- Autopromotec and SANA, and the quarter’s calendar through the rest of the year
Dates move every year: tell us the show and the dates and we will plan around them.
How we work with exhibitors
Airport and station transfers. We collect your guests at Marconi or at the station and take them to their hotel or straight to the stand. We track the flights, so delays are not your problem.
Car at your disposal. Half a day or a full day with car and driver on hand: useful when there are several appointments across the city, client dinners and unpredictable finishing times.
Hotel shuttle. Many exhibitors stay outside the city because hotels fill up during fairs. We cover the repeated journey morning and evening, with several vehicles in parallel for groups.
Company invoicing. Open account, monthly electronic invoicing and a statement of every journey: your finance team does not have to chase receipts.
Delegations and international guests
A large share of visitors to the Bologna fairs arrive from abroad, and not all of them speak Italian or English. Our drivers speak English and Arabic, as well as French and Spanish: for a Middle Eastern delegation that is the difference between a transfer and a welcome.

How far ahead should I book during a fair?
As early as you can: during the major shows availability across the city runs out. A single journey can be arranged within hours, but a full fair week is worth fixing in advance.
Can you handle several people arriving on different flights?
Yes. Send us the list of flights with names and times: we organise the pick-ups and send you a single summary.
Do you cover evening client dinners?
Yes, and it is one of the most frequent requests during fair weeks. It works best as a car at your disposal, so the finishing time stays open.
Do you invoice the company?
Yes, electronic invoicing. For clients who work with us regularly we open an account settled monthly.
